  2019年, SinoProbe专项中外首席科学家将在美国地球物理学会秋季年会(2019 AGU FM)上再次主办专题讨论会, 欢迎投稿参与讨论。相关信息如下:

  • Title: T016 - Deep Structure and Geodynamics of Orogenic Belts

  • Brief Introduction: The complex deep structures of orogenic belts record the tectonic processes in deep time, constitute the evidence chain between the past and the present, and are the keys to reveal the evolution of the earth, especially the formation and evolution of the supercontinents. There are various types of orogenic belts formed in different geological periods, as well as active orogenic belts in present days. Continental geodynamics is becoming more and more important in the understanding of major orogenesis and continental formations. The decoding of deep structure, composition and geodynamics of orogenic belts is an important subject for geologists, geophysicists, and geochemists. We welcome submissions on all aspects of global continental convergent boundaries and orogenic belts, ancient and modern.

  • Close Date of online submission: July 31, 2019

  • Invited Abstract submission: July 17, 2019. All the invited abstract must be noted first on the online submission tool by the management convener, then can submit it as the invited report. So, please contact with us first if needed or have some good recommendation.

  • Note : All the abstract submitter should register AGU member for the easily system access.

  • We will hold an academic exhibition on the 2019 AGU FM under the name of SinoProbe-Chinese Deep Exploration. If you want to join, please contact with us as soon as well. The introduction PPT files or pamphlets or video of the science progress and projects are needed during our discussion
